I have many years of experience in making professional quality, custom plaster molds, especially plaster molds for slipcast ceramics. In addition to pottery shapes, I have made hundreds of original molds for various ceramic specialties, such as decorative tile and porcelain dolls.
I make custom plaster molds, either from plaster models that I make to your specifications, or from models provided by you in any appropriate material, such as plaster, ceramic, resin, wax, etc.
For manufacturing processes that require other types of molds (such as ram-pressing ceramics, production glassmaking, or metal casting), I make master models, which are then used by other mold shops to generate working molds.
I also make silicone rubber molds, suitable for casting such materials as urethane resin, plaster, cement, wax, etc.

Working from catalog photos, I developed drawings, turned
plaster models, made handles from Ren urethane board, and
made block molds.
These molds are used in the factory to cast samples, and then
to generate master patterns for production.
